Luna is a 6 year old female Brittany Spaniel. This lovely girl was actually taken to the vets by her Spanish owners to be put down because she was howling. She was actually crawling in fleas and her back end was red raw. The lovely rescue we work with in Spain agreed to take her and she has been in foster in the home.
Luna is a very sweet natured dog; she seems to love the company of other dogs and we think would be best homed with another dog. Aunty Violet who is fostering her said she is a very loving dog and no bother.
Luna will be joining us the end of November – she is going to be a lovely dog for someone but she will need time to settle, she will benefit from kind patient people who have a deep understanding of dogs.
I have seen her many time on WhatsApp and she is always by Violets side – we would like her to go to a home which allows dogs on the furniture as she loves cuddling up. Where she lives is very rural, so she will not be used to traffic noise, lots of people etc so will suit a quiet adult home.
Not sure about her off the lead as where she is exercise on the land it’s all fenced, but she seems fine but this is something you need to work on once you have established a bond, there are so many secure fields around to practice these days it makes it easy.
We have no knowledge of how Luna is with children she seems very sweet but because of no history she cannot be homed with them. Preference always given to people with rescue experience.
Luna is spayed, vaccinated and been blood tested. She will also have her own Pet Passport.
