Lydia is a 6 year old female Cross-Breed. The lovely Lydia has been in the UK for approximately a month and is now ready for her forever home. Lydia is about Labrador size and was rescued from the streets of Romania by our trusted rescuers, she is wonderfully clever and brave, affectionate with her friends and learns quickly.
Due to being on the streets she has a slightly independent streak but show her a treat and she is a friend for life, the downfall of all street dogs their stomach, food always wins out.
Lydia now walks nicely on a lead and is fully house trained, she hasn’t been child tested but she really likes cats and is currently quite happily living with one. This lady would prefer to be the only dog in the house, she is very much a people dog and prefers not to share her humans with another dog, however out and about she is a very good girl and will mix with other dogs quite happily in an outdoor setting.
Lydia being such a clever dog and food orientated will be a dream to train which is something her new owner could continue, she is also content to be left with no issues and will use a crate quite happily.
Lydia is spayed, has had all of her jabs, flea and worm treatment, she is fostered in York and applicants would have to be prepared to travel to meet her prior to adoption, so please bear this in mind before applying for her.
Please make sure you are ready to adopt and everyone involved is in agreement and aware of your enquiry. Full rescue back up will be given for her and a home check will be undertaken, the current adoption fee is £350.
