Macey is a 4 – 5 month old Lurcher that is making his way into Greyhound Gaps care. He is a typical young Lurcher puppy and his ideal home would be with someone around all of the time and preferably another dog/dogs for company.

Macey will most definately benefit from training/socilaisation classes as thus far he hasnt learnt many manners, and still needs work with his housetraining. He is good with other dogs and older dog sensible children. Macey is fine on and off leash.

Macey is heading into foster care with both other dogs and cats. Macey will be vaccinated, microchiped, de-flead and wormed before rehoming. As part of our adoption agreement it will be necessary for anyone adopting Macey to be willing to have him castrated at a relevant age 6-9 mpnths and proof provided back to ourselves the rescue.

Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out.
