Maci is a 1 year old medium size female crossbreed. Her story is quite unusual, she was dumped at a kill shelter by the owner who did not want her anymore and was waiting on death row.

Miraculously, her photo was spotted by her rescuer who saved her from the streets as a young puppy and she has collected straight away from the kill shelter.

She is now back in the same rescue centre where she started off less than a year ago… But at least she’s safe and loved. If only she had a family to love, one that loves her back and one that does not abandon her anymore

Maci is a very sweet girl, she loves people, is friendly with children, she is a very kind and affectionate doggie. She loves attention and wants to be around her humans whenever she can. She loves her walks and would happily be in your company in any of your activities.

She is not so much interested in other dogs, although she will tolerate them, but she is definitely more of a people’s dog. She can live with older children.

Maci would be best suited for a family where she is not left alone for long periods and she can be included in her family’s activities, taken on nice walks and adventures.

She will need to be given time to settle in her new home and be introduced gradually to all things new. Her training and socialization will also need to be continued in her new home. She will definitely do her best to please you as all she wants is to be loved by her humans.

Maci could possibly live with another friendly dog but she would probably be happiest as the only dog and the centre of attention of her family.

She could happily live with older dog-savvy kids as she loves children. She really deserves someone to fall in love with her and save her from shelter life.

Like all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love and commitment from her adopting family to become a happy, well-balanced dog.

Experience with rescue dogs preferred. No first-time owners, please.

Maci is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her.

She comes spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA-approved paperwork.

Adoption is subject to a Home Check and Adoption fee. Full RBU provided.
