Magic – 4 year old female Greyhound

Magic or Madge as she is know is a stunning 4 year old Greyhound girl currently looking for her new home here with us at Greyhound Gap. I love this girl, when she first landed she was slightly bonkers and set about making the place her own and quickly but after a couple of weeks she is levelling out beautifully.

[rehomed]

She is going to make someone the most amazing companion. Magic recently attended our fun day in Oakamoor and was a star! She was fabulously at meeting and greeting everyone she saw and for a newly retired girl only just off the track was polite with all dogs she met, however caution will be needed in the beginning whilst socialising her with smaller dogs. Magic is NOT cat friendly and can be rehomed with dog savvy children 6 years and upwards.

Although Magic is here with us in kennels she is proving to be a good clean girl and toilets as soon as let out and given the opportunity so housetraining should not be an issue. Out and about Magic walks well on lead and she also travels like a dream. On top of all that just HOW stunning is she?? We feel Magic would be equally happy in a home as an only dog or with other resident dogs and would soon settle and make full use of all the sofas and beds you have on offer.

Magic is currently located in Stoke on Trent and is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, spayed and has also received a dental. She will be rehomed with 4 weeks free insurance also through Petplan. Magic can be rehomed nationally subject to a successful homevisit and all members of the immediate family including any resident dogs being willing to travel to meet her.

Greyhound Gap

Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from Greyhound Gap, we would ask that in the first instance you could take a few moments to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire if you have not already done so: http://www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/our-dogs/pre-adoption-questionnaire
