Magpie – 9 year old female Greyhound

Magpie is another of our Canidrome girls and now ready to be homed. This girl is a really special dog and is currently on foster in York with 1 female greyhound, 2 female lurchers and a male lurcher and gets on well with them all. Magpie is 9 years of age but no way acts her age and is such a wonderful hound someone will be lucky to have her. Out on walks she is a dream and behaves in all situations she has been placed into and with all other dogs she has met. Her housetraining is great and she also travels like a dream. She has also been the perfect house guest over the last week. There isn’t much else to say.

[rehomed]

We do feel Magpie may be happy to settle as an only dog if someone is around most of the time in the main as she does love company or will be fine to be rehomed with other dogs and be left whilst her new family are at work. Magpie can be rehomed with dog savy children 6 years and upwards but not cats. Magpie is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, spayed and has had a dental and will be rehomed with one months free insurance from Pet Plan.

If you are interested in offering the stunning Magpie a home in the first instance please complete the pre adoption questionnaire.

Greyhound Gap

Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from Greyhound Gap, we would ask that in the first instance you could take a few moments to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire if you have not already done so: http://www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/our-dogs/pre-adoption-questionnaire
