Mak is a 16 years old large male Cross-Breed.

Mak was given a rough age when we rescued him. Sadly, this seems to have made him one of the “overlooked ” as it has put him as much older than he actually is.

His foster says – ” there is no way this boy is 15, he has the energy of a younger dog for sure”. Her UK vet suggests he is more like 11 years old.

Mak is a super goofy, lanky, clumsy and adorable big dog who will scoot past his foster siblings, run around the garden like Bambi and jumps around with excitement when his dog walker appears.

He is a big lad with a fabulous personality. He can be timid with new people, at first but if you ignore him he soon comes over for attention. Mak loves his walks and enjoys his time with his dog walker.

He is good with dogs of all shapes and sizes but prefers the calm type over puppies. Mak is not keen on the ‘in your face types’ and space should be given if out walking past this type of dog.

Mak is housetrained, can be left and is great at the groomers and vets. Mak is a very loyal dog in nature. He loves females straight away. He just takes a little longer to bond with men.

We would suggest children over 10 years old. We say this because he may knock little children over without meaning to. He is very gentle around children and other animals.

His whole bottom moves when he wags his tail and he can knock things flying! Absolutely loves a fuss and tummy tickles -he doesn’t seem to realise there is a body beyond his shoulders!

He will let you know someone is at the door and bark to tell you the visitors have arrived but soon settles.

He knows all of the basic commands and wants to please. This boy is just the sweetest funniest goofy dog. He so deserves his forever home with a garden to run around in and a nice floor to lie on.

Mak is partial to a snooze outside as you can see from the photos. He could live as an only dog or would love a calm doggy friend in his new home. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped. Mak is in foster in Nottingham.
