From the moment he was picked up he has shown nothing but love to his rescuer who is also fostering him in Cyprus.

Marco is the most amazing boy who has in his short two or three years of life, endured the most horrendous neglect and abuse, and yet remarkably he seems to bear absolutely no mental or emotional scars.

He is the most loving, friendly, kind, gentle soul and a complete cuddle junkie, a total Lovebug!

Marco absolutely loves everyone he meets! He is good with other dogs and has lived with a cat as well who he gets on very well with. Marco is very food motivated (probably because he was starved in his former life) so you need to be careful to guard your snacks!

However, this also means that he is very easily trainable. Marco is an extremely intelligent dog and learns new routines very quickly.

It also means that he is not fussy about whatever food you feed him, whether it be kibble, tinned food or scraps; he will eat anything and be grateful and appreciative for it.

Marco travels beautifully in the car and will just lay down calmly and quietly. He is crate trained, in fact, he loves lying in his kennel, and at night he will sleep either in his kennel, or on the sofa, or in a dog bed in your bedroom.

He’s happy with anything! Marco walks well on the leash with other calm dogs.

He has been walking off the leash for a while, although as an ex-hunting dog, he is very led by his nose, so if you intend to walk him off the lead all the time you may need to do a little extra training to be 100% confident that he will come back to you when faced with any distractions.

Marco was let down in the most horrendous way by people and he now deserves to find the best forever home with a secure garden where he can sniff and play and with people who will make him feel loved and secure.

Marco would be happy living with a family with children over 10 years of age or with a couple or a single person – he just wants to be loved.

In return, Marco will be the most loyal friend and companion and bring endless amounts of joy to the people or person who open up their heart and home for him.

Marco can fly to the UK as soon as a home is offered.
