Moody Maud is a ten to eleven year old female Dachshund Cross. He came to us a few weeks ago from Romania after living all of her previous life outside on the end of a chain. Her vision is fading and she’s a bit rickety on her legs but her gutsy nature remains intact!

Maud is an old lady that knows her own mind and she makes it very clear she doesn’t want other dogs on her patch. Nor does she want more than a few seconds fuss before she will tell you very clearly that’s enough thankyou!

Maud is not for the faint hearted lol. She needs to be muzzled when groomed, her movements are slow enough to avoid contact but she will snap and it will make you jump!

Maud enjoys her walks but can’t do more than a potter round the block before her legs tire. She gets on okay with cats but cannot live with children of any age. Despite her grumpy old lady characteristics this sweet looking girl just wants a warm comfortable bed and some human company for her twilight years. Predictably Moody but kind of entitled to be after the horrible first ten years of her life!

All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless the dog is too young to be neutered). Moody Maud fostered Norwich Norfolk.
