Maxwell is a small and cute 13 year old male Yorkshire Terrier. Maxwell is good with children and other animals. He is housetrained but may have odd accidents if he doesn’t get out in time. He prefers company and will whine if left alone. He travels well and is fine on the lead. He is not good off lead as he is easily distracted.
Three years ago Maxwell had a tumour removed from his mouth. All of the cancer has been removed and has not returned within three years. He has part of his jaw missing but will eat soft food fine and still enjoys dental sticks.
He is a very sweet natured dog and enjoys being bathed and groomed. He will at some point need a dental but he has been to the vets and he has a healthy heart and seems very sprightly for his age.
Maxwell has been very clean in his kennel and will often wait until he is walked before messing, (he seems to prefer grass!) Maxwell is a lovely lap dog who just wants to be a companion to someone. He has a brilliant temperament and would be fine with children and other pets. We are not asking for an adoption fee for Maxwell due to his age but desperately would like him to be in a loving home for his last few years. Anyone who could make room for an elderly man please give him a chance.
