Melody is a 2-year-old female cross-breed with a small size, weighing 7kg and standing at 39 cm in height. Mitz is also a 2-year-old female, slightly larger at 10kg and 44 cm.

Both dogs are spayed, house-trained, and lead-trained. Rescued from a small rural petrol station, they were abandoned as tiny babies in the cold rain with little chance of survival.

Melody and Mitzi, a bonded pair, share a close companionship and rely on each other. Currently located in mid DE15 0HR, they are available for adoption in the Midlands or across the UK, with options for collection or part-way meetings.

Despite their challenging start, these two young girls have grown into friendly and affectionate dogs, displaying a remarkable resilience.

These girls, Melody and Mitzi, exhibit a small size and spunky energy. Melody is cautious around larger dogs and active pups initially, but she adapts quickly. Both dogs, however, are excellent with people, kids, other dogs, and even cats.

They have a playful and happy disposition, enjoying their interactions with humans and other animals.

Melody and Mitzi’s past abandonment has not left them with anxieties; rather, they are well-balanced and easily calmed. Their story of survival and subsequent development into confident and friendly dogs is heartening.

These dogs are not only good with cats but also display a positive attitude towards other dogs, readily engaging in play with all.

In terms of health, Melody and Mitzi have been spayed and boast a full vaccination pack. They are also microchipped and have tested negative for C. Brucella. These girls are a perfect fit for a dog-loving family willing to continue their socialization and training.

The rescuers express their readiness to provide abundant tips and advice to facilitate a smooth transition into a new and loving home.

The adoption process is facilitated through their location in the Midlands, and potential owners are encouraged to consider adopting both Melody and Mitzi together due to their strong bond.
