Mey Mey is a 7 year old female Cross-Breed. This friendly and sweet older girl spent her entire life chained in a yard giving birth on that chain to tens of puppies.
Her puppies were immediately thrown away or given to neighbours to live their lives in chains. Her owner never thought once to spay her.
Due to all her pregnancies, Mey Mey developed a nasty hernia which again her owner never thought to treat.
When this vile man finally released Mey Mey to our care she was given the medical care she needed.
However, it has left her with a small hernia but the vet said it does not cause her any pain or discomfort and he did not want her to go through another surgery.
Mey mey is an absolute joy! Despite her rubbish start to life, she is a sweet and loving girl.
Mey mey is timid but it doesn’t take long to get a wiggle and she smiles a lot! She is completely house clean, loves her food and will pick her bowl up and take it into the garden to ensure it is totally clean!
Mey mey walks well, but tentatively, on a lead but she’s very proud of her collar… she has a crate which she goes to by choice, we don’t close the door and she likes to snuggle with a blanket!
Her favourite thing to do is roll around on the grass and makes some hilarious noises while she is doing it.
Mey mey has met our cats and is not at all bothered by them, she is fine with Maggie our adopted rescue, she doesn’t play much but they get along great!
Mey mey needs lots of love and to feel safe, she would make a wonderful companion! She loves company but is also okay with being left for short periods – she is a dream girl, and you’ll fall for her sweet nature very quickly. Seven years of neglect.
