Millie is a 2 year old female Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz (Spanish Jack Russell) Cross. She is a gorgeous medium size dog. She may be a Bodeguero crossed with a Brittany, but whatever cross she is, she is a pretty dog. She’s small only 12kg.
When we first heard of her she was in a shelter, so terrified that she would not come out of her kennel. She has now come up to AELA, initially she did not move from the corner, just shaking in fear, but in a short time has made wonderful progress.
She is sharing with another dog and has grown into a happy and playful dog, she plays with her kennel mate and sleeps in his bed. With people she is sweet, a little shy at first but very good.
Milly will need an understanding home with a friendly, confident dog, as she will be nervous when she first comes across and will need a patient and understanding adopter.
Milly was rescued from a shelter in Talavera near Toledo, central Spain, she will now be tested for leish, the results will be back soon but this is a leish area, so we would advise regular testing.
