Milo – 7 year old male Whippet Cross

Hi everyone! My name is Milo and I am a 7 year old male Whippet Cross. Sadly for me, my owner lost his home and was desperate to find me somewhere safe to go, where I would be found a fur ever home. I have been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

I was very sad at being in kennels, so one of the lovely volunteers took me home to foster me. I am currently being fostered with an adult family, and 3 other dogs. I cannot live with cats.

My foster mum says I am pleasure to have in the home. I do suffer some anxiety initially when left, but my foster family have been working hard on this with me, and this must be continued in my new home so that I can continue to learn to be relaxed and feel safe when left. My foster mum will be able to explain how to help me with this.

I will need someone at home for most of the day, and who will gradually work up to me being able to be left for shopping trips etc. I do tolerate dogs in the home well, he I could live as an only dog as I like nothing better than to chill out with a human friend. I especially love teenagers and could live with dog savvy, gentle children.

If I were to live with another dog, they would need to be quite chilled and I’m not playful with other dogs – rough and tumbles just aren’t my thing!! I’d be just as happy being the only dog to absorb all the hugs and love from my humans!

I am house trained and will ask to go out when needed! I travel well in the car and am a perfect patient at the vets. I love my walks – so if you are looking for a walking buddy who you can then go home and snooze on the sofa with – I’m your boy!!

You will need to have a secure garden (6ft at least all the way round)

If you can offer me a space in your heart and your home – please fill in the pre adoption form on our website www.sedogrescue.co.uk
