Minnie is a 4 month old female Cross-Breed who is going to be fostered in Gloucestershire. We have no idea on size, all we can go on is the mum and possibly the dad, so we think she will possibly be a medium size when fully grown, at most.
Minnie along with her brother and sister will be joining us in the next two weeks from Spain both her siblings are reserved unfortunately her home has fallen through at the last minute so is back available. Their mum is a Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz which is very similar looking to a Parsons Jack Russell in size, looks and temperament, we have helped a few of these terriers and they have all proved to be very lovely dogs but are Terriers with all typical traits.
Dad was a knee height hairy mixed breed in the village where the mum was rescued they think and would make sense as the pups are looking a bit scruffy but we do not know.
Mum was found not very long ago but the owners wanted her back (Spanish family), then she was found again wandering heavily pregnant where they had probably chucked her because of this. She had these babies while in the care of the rescue. They are still with their mum and are very happy well socialised little pups with people and other dogs as you can see, they have been beautifully looked after.
Minnie looks very much like her sister Luna but has a little small white spot on paw. Described as very cheeky, inquisitive and loves exploring and with her sister.
She is a very affectionate little girl. Where they live is a lot of land and they have the run, so will not be used to cars, busy streets etc so would settle quicker in a country home with another dog.
Minnie will be fully vaccinated, chipped and have her own Pet Passport. She is too young to be spayed and you will be expected to do this as part of the adoption agreement.
Please email us in the first instance only if you have had a rescue dog before and have experience of dog ownership, you understand the importance of socialisation with puppies and have time for them, you are not going to be leaving her hours on her own, preference for another dog and countryside home for Minnie.
