Miss Nancy is a 5 month old female Husky cross Akita. The time has come for Miss Nancy to find her forever home. She is around 5 months old and we were told Husky cross Akita. She came into our care 6 weeks ago as she was going to be pts as her owners couldn’t afford her vet bills.
Nancy was sadly attacked by some of the resident 12 dogs and had the majority of her back skin ripped off. It’s taken an awful lot of TLC, regular vet trips, bandage changes, ointments and she is now all healed.
She is a lovely dog and super friendly but you need to look past that sweet face & make sure you can give Nancy everything she needs before applying. She wasn’t vaccinated as a puppy so has missed out on some vital socialisation time so is a little nervous out and about or with new people visiting.
She loves people when she knows them and adores the children in her foster home but when out the house is quite insecure with strangers so children over 10 only. She doesn’t like being left on her own and will look for mischief if she isn’t busy playing, training or got a friend to be with her so time and patience is needed to build this up.
She is in foster with another dog and could live with the right dog but she can be a little protective over food or treats but it also means shes super keen with her training. She has the sweetest temperament and with some good puppy training and the right owners will be a brilliant family dog.
She is chipped and had her 1st vaccination plus she will be recalled for neutering once old enough. In foster in Norris Green. We will only home to Merseyside or near area.
