Moira is a 3 year old female Cross-Breed. We were asked if we could help find Moira a home as we are her only chance of a life outside this small 2 metre square cage in the Public shelter in Bistrita.

For those who have never stepped into the Public shelter, consider yourself lucky. It leaves a lasting impression on your soul. The deafening cries and endless barking of the 200 plus dogs, all desperate for you to see them. Through tears you try so hard to give each dog a little piece of you. The unbearable stench and those sad eyes that bear deep into your soul. The PS is hell on earth.
She is very friendly towards people, wags her tail and would love nothing more than to have people visit her more often, but unfortunately with 200 plus dogs in the shelter this isn’t possible. She stands waiting and watching for that special someone to see her. Each day that goes past a small bit of her soul dies.
We suspect Moira was kept on a chain, and her owner decided one day to get rid of her. When she arrived at the PS she was wearing a massive collar with an even larger Carabiner. She would dearly love to play with her kennel neighbour but unfortunately, even that is not possible here. In her dreary daily routine. this cage is her prison.
She has a shortened tail, the vet and the x-ray indicate that it is shortened due to an accident. We suspect Moira has had to spend her life outside so far and is therefore not yet familiar with life inside a household. She has not been cat tested
