His perfect home would be someone who has no other dogs and no children and someone who is around most of the day. Monty is fine with cats and has also lived with rabbits and guineas.
Monty does have a deformity in one of his front paws which affects his mobility. The deformity causes him no pain and he does get along just fine, however, he could develop arthritis as he gets older.
He loves going for short walks and walks well on a lead. He can bark at other dogs but this is easily managed by someone dog savvy and physically capable of handling a medium sized disabled dog.
Monty’s dog trainer is happy to discuss him with any potential adopters and we will also discuss in much further detail about his background. Monty is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.
Monty is currently kennelled in Barnsley. For any adoption enquiries, please call and leave a voicemail and a volunteer will return your call.
