Monty – 12 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

Monty is a 12 year old male Jack Russell Terrier. He is the sweetest gentleman who is very easygoing. At 12 years old he has only ever known one human so he is very brave as this is all a big adjustment for him.

Monty is still very spritely and active for his age and is very keen to explore on walks. Monty does have a grade 6 heart murmur which he is on medication for and is on pain relief for his back legs.

Monty will also require ongoing physio sessions to help strengthen his back legs. His recent blood test came back to normal levels. Used to a quiet home, could potentially live with teenagers but is very happy to greet everyone.

Monty is social with other dogs and has recently been living with one, could live with a calm suitable match. No cats will chase. Will also chase small furries. Housetrained, ok travelling, ok left alone.

Monty is a real gent and a joy to be around. Would like a home with his garden to explore. Raystede is an independent rehoming centre near Lewes, Sussex. We tend to only rehome dogs to Sussex and the neighbouring counties.
