Nachos is a 8 month old male Siberian Husky. This lovely boy was brought into the rescue we support in Spain. He was owned by a British man who had him since he was a baby because of work etc his owner had to return to UK and had no choice but to hand him over to rescue. Nachos very obviously has been well looked after and loved, when he first came into rescue he was very sad for a few days missing his owner. I know enough about this breed that they can be hard work in the wrong hands, they are a beautiful breed but not for a novice owner.
What struck me about this boy was how calm he was and what a lovely boy. I watched him with a bowl of food back down when one of the bossy little dogs decided he wanted it, he gets on very well with the other dogs and just seems a very well balanced lovely boy. With homing, he needs to be with people who have actually owned this breed or similar.
I would say with other dogs but taking no chances would rather it was with a bitch rather than a boy just in case of problems in the future. His exercise needs will be up there with the top 5 but probably like a lot of dogs of this breed his recall will be non existent so he needs someone who is a runner, or has secure land or access to it, someone active – if you know this breed you will know Nachos is a lovely dog when you watch the videos and lets hope we can find the right match for him.
Nachos will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped and have his own Pet Passport.
