Born in November 2016, Nala is a three-year-old, large Cross-Breed with a medium coat. She is currently in the care of RSDR and is waiting for someone to offer her a loving home. Nala was brought to the shelter with her six siblings by the owners of a house where the pups had been born. The people had been looking after them, but when the pups were a few weeks old, the people realised they couldn’t look after them any more.
Nala is a beautiful Karakachan cross which means that she has strong instincts to guard (Karakachans are bred to watch over sheep and cattle in Bulgaria). We are therefore looking for an experienced adopter with no small children where she will be treated with patience and understanding. One of Nala’s sisters has been adopted in the Netherlands and lives happily there in a rural environment.
Nala has lived all her short life at our Shelter so may need some time to adjust to a new home (as with many rescue dogs). She is microchipped and has been spayed. She’s up-to-date with her vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
