Nala is a 7 year old female Cross-Breed. She came into our care when she was found on the streets in Romania unable to birth her puppies due to their size.

We had her rushed up to the vet where her healthy and very big babies were delivered by emergency C-section.
Mother and babies all stayed together in Romania until the pups were old enough to travel and the whole family unit came to the UK in August 2021 where Nala stayed with her puppies until the last pup was adopted.
We then placed Nala in a home where she lived for almost a year. During this time Nala had never settled with the man in the house and when the situation became untenable she was returned to the rescue.
Nala has settled back into rescue very well, but we want to find her a new forever home as quickly as possible.
Ideally, we will be looking for a female-only home and preferably one in a quieter location. Nala has always been a bit of a shy girl but does walk lovely in a lead, travels well in the car and is house-trained.
Nala is super affectionate once she knows you and her go-to position is on her side for a tummy tickle.
Nala has never bitten anyone and is not aggressive, she was just unable to allow herself to trust her new dad and used to bark at him every time he moved.
Out on walks though she was more likely to just hide behind her mum’s legs when a man approached.
We are sure in the right home, with love and patience she could learn to trust men, but for now, think a female-only home is the best option for her.
Nala weighs in at about 26-27 kilos, but isn’t a big dog … She’s more “compact” x
