This gorgeous boy is Ned. He is a 4 year old male Greyhound who recently made his way into our care. Ned is now in foster care with a male Greyhound and a female Greyhound both of whom he gets on well with.

Ned is spotlessly clean in the house and great to be left with the company of other dogs and we feel would be fine as an only dog if left for a short period of time this will be tested further.

Ned really is a loving laid back lad. He walks well on the leash most of the time but is still a little reactive when he sees cats and small dogs out and about or running off leash however he does respond when told and it won’t be long before he understands what is meant of him.

Whoever offers Ned a home is going to have a friend for life he really does love his people.

Ned is NOT Cat friendly. Ned is vaccinated, KC vaccinated, microchipped, de-flead, de-wormed and neutered.

Ned can be rehomed throughout the UK as long as a homevisit and follow up homevisit can be secured. He is currently in foster in the Runcorn area and potential adopters would be required to travel and meet him.

Greyhound Gap

Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from Greyhound Gap, we would ask that in the first instance you could take a few moments to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire if you have not already done so: http://www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/our-dogs/pre-adoption-questionnaire
