Nelly has been in a home for a couple of months, and has been great apart from one thing – the hedging is not secure enough to keep her in, and despite having an excellent recall command when she is off lead on a walk, she will not come back when she escapes because she thinks she’s going to get a row!!

She is very good-natured but may have been abused, as she is overanxious to please, very clingy and you can hardly walk for her tripping you up! She is fine with other dogs. She eats like she has been starved, and has no notion how to take treats gently, she also jumps up comstantly (and telling her off makes her more anxious so she jumps up even more for reassurance!) so we would like to place her in a home with no children initially, even though she would eventually be fine with them. She is now housetrained. *Major escape artist*

Nelly will need a calm, experienced, loving household with no children under 12 years. Also requires very secure garden.
