Nero is a 2 year old male Cross-Breed. He was found abandoned on the side of a busy road. He had no microchip and no owner could be detected.
Nero now lives in a foster home with 3 other dogs and 5 cats. Nero is a lovely boy with a beautiful shiny black coat that catches the eye.
Nero is very affectionate, loves cuddles and tries to be around his humans and touch them whenever he can.
Nero can still be a bit shy initially but warms up quickly and appreciates all attention. He gets on well with his doggie mates, he is mostly submissive around them.
Nero is also friends with the family of cats in the household, he wants to play with them but will respect their ’no’ signals.
Nero likes misplacing footwear in the house but so far has not damaged any of them. His toilet training is nearly complete, apart from rare accidents overnight.
Nero is an intelligent boy who learns quickly and cooperates nicely with his humans.
Nero is kind, loving and playful and he will surely keep you entertained if you let him.
Nero would be best suited for a family without or with older children where he is not left alone for long periods and there is time for his training.
Nero needs owners who understand the needs of rescue dogs and will introduce him gradually to all things new.
Nero could happily live with another friendly, well-balanced dog or dog and is also compatible with cats given the right introductions.
Like all rescue dogs, he will need time, patience, love and commitment from his adoptive family to become a happy, well-balanced dog. Experience with rescue dogs preferred. No first-time owners, please.
Nero is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him.
Nero comes neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA-approved paperwork. The Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee. Full RBU provided.
