Neymar – 1-2 year old male Lurcher

Neymar is a 1-2 year old male Lurcher. Neymar came to us via a local vets where he had been found by someone with a broken leg and left by his owner. Our vets contacted us to see if we would help him, our lovely supporters funded his surgery and he has now just had his last x-ray to assess how this has gone, we are just waiting feed back from the specialist but the vets were happy that the leg has repaired well. He does however have a slight limp now.

Neymar would suit lots of families, like many Lurchers, he would like the company of someone or another dog, we think once his assessments have been completed he could live with a nice compatible dog. He is a very picky eater, he likes change, he currently eats some raw, some lilys, some Simpsons but would love home cooked as well. As above, he is recovering from surgery for a broken leg that was pinned. He is now just beginning his rehabilitation to strengthen this leg. At Glendee Rescue, Hertfordshire.

Neymar hasn’t started any formal training. He does walk nicely on the lead and is very gentle with meeting people. He has no specific training requirements at the moment. This is our current assessment, the assessments are on-going as always, and although we temperament test our dogs in many situations, we can not know how they be when they arrive in your home, support is given as always be given by the trainer you are matched to.
