Nina is a 2 year old female Ibizan Hound (Podenco). She is a young, medium to large, rough-coated, tan and white Podengo girl, who came to the shelter because she was found on the street. The man who brought her in could not keep her because he is elderly and not in good health, but he managed to coax her to follow him to the shelter.
He regularly comes to the shelter to take her for walks and when she sees him she is so excited.
We´ve nicknamed him the Godfather. Nina was very scared when she first came to us but she has now blossomed into a beautiful, friendly and playful girl who loves her walks and splashing in water. She still needs to gain more confidence and is not used to normal everyday things but this will improve when she has her own home and family to love.
She loves other dogs and we will be looking for a home with another friendly dog to help guide her and give her confidence. She would suit an older couple as she is a calm girl.
Her current location is in Portugal can travel to the UK in January once she has a home to go to
Adoption Fee : £425– to be paid direct to the Portuguese rescue to cover new, excessive, extra EU travel costs, via UK bank account
