Noohr is a 7 month old female Cross-Breed. She is a scruffy Lurcher-type crossbreed who will be a large dog when she is fully grown. She was one of a litter of puppies found in a forest near Bucharest in Romania, alone and very weak. Five of the puppies survived and were nursed back to full health before travelling to foster homes in the UK. Noohr is now ready to be matched with her perfect adopter.
This beautiful and gentle girl is still very much a puppy, and she is a very big one. She learns quickly and though she is still quite shy and quiet most of the time, she does have mad moments where she rushes around the garden and plays with other dog or toys. She does stop and look a bit embarrassed if she notices that you are watching her though.
Noohr is shy around new people at first, but soon comes round with a handful of treats. She does like human attention, and once she trusts her people then she will happily sit and cuddle on the sofa, wagging her tail when you speak to her. She really likes home comforts and has found the sofa and a comfy bed in every room. She has also quickly learnt the rattle of the treat tin, and comes if a snack is on offer.
Noohr is learning to walk on the lead, but will need further training to learn to walk sensibly all of the time, especially when there are loud noises, fast movements or new things around her. She is happily living with other dogs, cats and hens in her foster home. She follows the older dogs in the foster home, and enjoys playing with them as well as gaining confidence from having them close whilst we are out walking.
She needs a reasonably quiet home to help her gain confidence and a home that expects her to be a puppy. She needs an adopter who understands that she will probably chew things, have accidents in the house and be a bit daft sometimes. Noohr is fostered Dersingham Norfolk.
Our adoption fee is £270. She is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. If you are interested please message or call between 9am and 6pm.
