Paddy is a 2 year old Saint Bernard. By the time he was 9 months old, Paddy had been to five different homes, where people were unable to cope with him. This is because he was a very strong determined boy, who did not wish to interact with people; as he had been let down by so many individuals in the past. He is now at the kennels and is an adorable boy who can get over excited; and forgets that he is not a small puppy! He walks well on the lead and loves going on walks. Paddy has come a long way and is now very affectionate to people he trusts. He also loves being groomed and enjoys playing with toys. Paddy needs his training to continue at his new home, however this must be reward based. If any negative training was used, it would knock Paddy back regarding his trust issues.

Paddy can be homed with older children who are over 10 years old. We think that he would best suit being an only dog, but we would consider homing him with a female. This would be on the understanding that both dogs would meet several times to see if they got on with each other, before the adoption process was continued. He is untested with cats.
