Parker is 2 years old male Cross-Breed. He is around 19 inches tall and looking for a new home. He is a beautiful, healthy and happy pup. He is extremely friendly and playful with other dogs. He is a regular at the local dog daycare, where he always has a blast playing and socialising.

Parker is great on a lead and has a solid recall, he is always excited to go outside and he’s an absolute joy to walk. Like any stray Romanian pup, Parker’s life hasn’t always been a bed of roses. He has already made amazing progress, he is now housetrained and perfectly adjusted to living in the UK. He does however still struggle to immediately trust new people.

He will quickly get comfortable with strangers met on a walk, but needs more time to accept new visitors in the house. This is understandable, as he feels his safe environment is being intruded.

He is not a great fan of too much happening too quickly (who is?) and would rather avoid busy and hectic situations. His new family must be ready to help Parker slowly overcome his fears and gradually build more confidence.

Parker is an extremely intelligent, fun-loving and affectionate boy. We know that a patient, loving and supportive family will bring the best out of him. He is best suited for an adult-only household, with no cats.

Currently living in London.

Paws2Rescue is a UK registered charity, for Romanian rescue dogs. We support many pet owners in Romania and tackle the cause of why there are so many homeless dogs by endorsing several neutering campaigns across the country. Our dogs are assessed in Romania prior to us bringing them to the UK. We have no physical UK kennels as our dogs are in adopters and fosterers homes across the UK. We believe we can make a difference one dog at a time! You will need to be over 25 to adopt, children in the household must be over 8 years old (over 12 for adult dogs). We can only adopt adult dogs to people 67 years and over. We encourage you to visit our website: before applying to read our adoption process and familiarise yourself with our work.
