Pearl is a 3-4 year old female Podenco. She was rescued from the pound when heavily pregnant and subsequently gave birth to three puppies all rehomed.
She has been with Operation Great Escape since October 2020 and although she is a nervous little dog once she knows you she is the friendliest dog ever. Great with other dogs, no cats or small animals.
She has tested positive for leishmaniasis, which is a treatable disease and dogs go onto live long and happy lives with just a couple of (low cost) tablets a day.
She does have a high prey drive like most podencos so a secure garden is a must. Pearl is in a foster home in Spain but is ready to travel to the UK. Home check and adoption fee apply.
