Penny – 3 year old female Hound Cross

Beautiful Penny hasn’t had the best start in life. She’s a three-year-old female Hound mixed-breed who was found abandoned in the woods, tied to a tree with her legs bound.

She also had a swollen, blind eye which required removal to ensure she was comfortable.

She’s a sensitive girl who’s noise sensitive and can be nervous in new situations. However, it doesn’t take long for her to gain confidence and become the bouncy girl she truly is.

She’s an active dog who gets bored easily and will therefore need experienced owners who have a good understanding of hound types and their typical characteristics.

She would excel in Mantrailing or similar scent activities. She’s also super affectionate and always enjoys cuddling up on the sofa with people.

Penny is an active dog who is looking for an equally active owner who is up for doing lots of training with her and will keep her both physically and mentally stimulated.

She doesn’t cope well with being left alone so she will need a multi-carer household where there is always someone at home with her and will slowly build up the time she is left home alone. She can live with children from sixteen years of age and upwards.

Penny has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
