Penny – 4-5 year old female Cross-Breed

Penny is a 4-5 year old female Cross-Breed, about 17 kgs. She can live with an indoor cat but feels she wants to play with them if they go outside in the garden. This can be worked on of course. She is so very gentle and friendly towards adults and children.

Penny has only been in the UK for 5 days and not once has she toileted in the house. She is learning lead skills and walking outside (which is still frightening for her) but she is being so very brave. Penny can live with another dog or can be an only dog. She just wants to play and have fun. Penny is the gentlest, kindest dog there is and she is eager to please.

Penny has only been in the UK 5 days and is far ahead of where we would think she should be in walking outside, tolerating a harness/lead and interacting with the foster household. Penny’s kindness and gentleness comes from within and she would make someone the most perfect friend. She is such a gentle wee soul and so deserving of a new home.

All of our dogs come from Romania and have spent time with our Romanian rescuer either in their home or in suitable kennels until adopted. As we are a small rescue we have only a few dogs in foster in the UK, most are direct adoptions from Romania to the UK.

We offer support throughout the whole process as well as after the dog has arrived which is the most important time of all.

We do not adopt to families with resident children under the age of 7yrs. and try where possible to cat test out dogs. Please note, all our dogs have comprehensive blood works as well as being fully vaccinated/microchipped and registered to the new owner.

We also neutered/spayed responsibly and provide full post adoption support. Home check/application form apply as well as telephone/video call.
