We would like to introduce you to Pepita. She is a small Cross-Breed who is between 5-6 years old. When she entered the pound and the vet saw her he estimated that Pepita was 2 years of age, as she is lively and her teeth are in perfect conditions.
Nevertheless we found out that Pepita was a dog who was living on the streets of a village for about 4 years and therefore we know that she has to be older..probably between 5-6 years.
Pepita is similar to a dachshund with short legs and a long body. She is friendly and loving with everybody she meets. She is good with dogs but what she loves most is the company of people. Pepita is the happiest when she has the company of humans. She is an active girl and enjoys walks in the park, on the fields or on the beach. She is heart wrenchingly loving, affectionate and simply longs to be loved for the rest of her life, like we passionately believe she deserves.
Pepita is currently in foster care in Northern Spain and her behavior is exceptional. She is living perfectly with 4 other dogs which are all larger than her. She is not a very playful dog…she is more a lap dog….nevertheless she loves to go out for her walks, drive in the car etc.
She just loves to be included in all activities with her humans and follows them wherever they go. She is obedient and walks very well on the lead. She has not been tested and also can’t be tested with cats or children.
Pepita is microchipped, spayed, fully vaccinated and eagerly awaiting her forever home. Her blood tests highlighted a low level count of Leishmaniasis, which is a disease transmitted by sand flies.
Pepita is non symptomatic and will live a normal healthy life The disease is under control and therefore currently doesn’t need any medication. Nevertheless she requires annual blood tests to check that her blood values stay stable and keep them controlled.
Pepita is a sweet girl and we are sure that the family who will open the doors of their home to her will not regret it. She is currently in Northern Spain, but ready to travel to England/Wales as soon as her forever home comes forward. If you want that Pepita becomes your new family member please get in touch with us.
