Petra is a small-medium sized girl, weighting 11-12kg. She is 3 years old. She is in a private shelter in Romania and can travel when she has a home to go to. Petra is a very pretty fluffter, with lovely creamy-apricot fur, and beautiful coloured eyes. She’s been a wonderful mum to her puppies who have now been rehomed, but now it is her turn to find her happily ever after home. She’s a sweet natured and playful young lady. Friendly with humans and other dogs.
Petra does not like cats – she will attack cats and any small furries, so she cannot be homed with them. Unfortunately she cannot be tested with children in the shelter where she is so we cannot home her with any, although think she would be fine with older teenagers.
This is her story: Our rescuers were feeding some strays in a field. Some men from the yard opposite came out and wanted to show them Petra – she had just given birth to her puppies under the tyres. The men who worked there were feeding her, along with a few other dogs. Our rescuers visited a few times but they had to wait a few weeks until the babies were a bit older to take them.
Petra is now neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped and has a passport. Homecheck and adoption fees apply.
