Petra is a sweet natured dog, still very much a puppy in her energy and mischevious behaviour. She seems unaware of her size and can be boisterous when playing. She is good with all the dogs within the home but would be better placed with younger ones as my elderly dog finds her energy a bit much. She is extremely nervous when out on walks but very confident within the large garden and home. She loves to run and returns to her name and whistle within garden but due to her nervousness has been kept on lead on walks.
The cats in the house provoke barking but she understands “leave it” and will do so. Initially she chased but now does not; I do have a very dog savvy cat. She needs a home with space to grow and become more confident outside and also another dog to show her the ropes, play with and help confidence away from the house. She is clean in the house during the day but still has accidents at night time.
All dogs we have met on walks have been greeted with a waggy tail but people she is clearly frightened and her tail and ears go down and she will freeze. She has a very loving and submissive nature and will make a lovely companion.
Petra is not neutered due to her age and will be rehomed with a contract to do so and not with entire males. She is chipped vaccinated wormed and flead and adoption is subject to meet and greet homecheck and adoption fee. Applications via forms section of website please.
