Pillina is a 3 year old female Sabueso (Spanish Scenthound). She was adopted last year after travelling to the UK from North Spain.

Sadly her new family have had a big change in circumstances and is struggling to meet Pillina’s needs so despite being heartbroken, they’ve decided it’s the best thing for her to find a new home.
Pillina has been living as an only dog but she would love a home with another dog for company too!
Pillina adores other dogs and loves to play. She does best with somebody around most of the time so we’re looking for a home where she won’t be left for too long.
Pillina’s also been living with a young child who adores her and the feeling is mutual although she is a bit clumsy and likes to use her paws a lot so any young child would need to be confident around dogs due to her size she has a wonderful nature.
Despite being a hound, she has a good recall in general and loves going for walks of course!
Pillina’s toilet trained in her current home although does need a little work on her house manners when being left alone which will need to be worked on gradually in a future home.
Her mum says she is just the best, the most amazing little lady! Pillina’s date of birth is 7th July 2019.
Pillina was handed in by her hunter as he did not want her. Sabuesos are a lovely breed. They are used to hunt wild boar and other game in Spain.
They are bloodhounds who earned their name due to their noble character. Sabueso is a smart dog who needs mental stimulation as well as being active.
Sadly it is also a breed that typically gets overlooked as pets but we hope this will not be the case for Pillina.
