Pindur is a 1 year and 3 month old, small size (weight: 5-6 kg, shoulder height: 25-27 cm), neutered male Dachshound cross who was rescued from a high kill shelter as a puppy and sadly he’s not found his forever home yet. He’s been brought up in foster placement with other dogs and cats, therefore he is thoroughly socialized with them. By now he’s grown into lovely bundle of joy who melts everyone’s hearts being so tiny and a happy chappy all the time. He currently lives in an outdoor kennel when really he should be a sofa dweller in a warm home with a loving family.
Pindur is sociable with all dogs and also friendly with cats as he’s been growing up among them. He loves the company of children and he is generally friendly with everyone. He loves running around with other dogs and his tail keeps wagging. He is quite alert and can get yappy when excited but would not bark excessively or without a reason. He is a lovely boy with a playful character who loves balls and soft toys and happily runs up to you for a cuddle any time. He loves being a lapdog and based on his size, he is ideal to be one! He is sociable and playful with dogs and compatible with cats too. He will need to be trained on walks as he does not get walked currently and he may need to be toilet trained.
Pindur would be best suited with a family without or with children over 8 where he is not left alone for long periods of time and there is time for his training. His future family will need to give him time to settle in his new home and treat him as a member of the family. He could live with a friendly doggie mate to keep him company, but he would be equally happy living with his humans to care for him only.
Pindur is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
