Pink is a 5 year old female Cane Corso. She was abandoned in a reservoir along with another Cane Corso back in September.
It was clear to see that she had been used as a breeding machine with her ears mutilated, our heart breaks for this sweet girl.
Pink is the complete opposite of how she looks and is a very timid girl. She has gained confidence and has been coming on in leaps and bounds after spending short periods in foster, however, she can still be scared of new things.
Pink is non-aggressive but will bark sometimes out of fear. Pink would choose to flee any scary situation, however, if she can’t escape she just shakes.
Pink adores Blue who she was rescued with but he’s too much for her sometimes so she would be better homed without him. She does not trust strange dogs initially but soon as she gets to know they are no threat she is fine with them.
This girl has made people a lot of money and yet she sits in rescue feeling unloved. Whoever ends up with her will have the most wonderful, loyal friend who will give back so much joy and love.
To see her happy and playful when she relaxes and does zoomies is the best feeling. She would be best suited to a home with older, sensible children.
If you have what it takes to help our Pink on her way to happiness (be that a foster or forever home) we would love to hear from you!
We take everything slowly here with trial periods to ensure that everyone is happy so there is no pressure on either party. Happy humans and happy dogs!
