Pip is an 11 year old Jack Russell who is looking for a new home because his elderly owner was moving to a retirement home that doesn’t allow pets. Pip is a friendly little boy who is toilet-trained, well-behaved and travels well in the car. He can occasionally be left alone for a couple of hours but is used to having someone around for most of the day.

He came to us very lethargic and depressed and has since been diagnosed with a moderate heart murmur. Having been on medication for just over a month the change in him has been very noticeable, now a lively and happy lad who enjoys exploring in the park, playing with balls of any kind and getting up to mischief in general. His new owners will need to make sure he takes his tablets in a daily basis – these are easily disguised in a piece of sausage.

Affectionate Pip enjoys being groomed, bathed, having his tummy rubbed and being picked up. His favourite snacks are carrots and rich tea biscuits. He is a confident and lively little chap but also sweet-natured and affectionate – a definite lap dog. He gets along well with other dogs he meets in the park, but owning to his possessiveness over food, toys and attention around other dogs he is looking for a home where he can have his owners all to himself.

He would ideally suit someone who has owned terriers before. A retired couple with plenty of time on their hands to shower him with affection would suit him perfectly. Pip is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
