Piru is a 4 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a super gorgeous, tiny little dog. He is a very small, pretty four year old weighing just 5 kg. Piru is a gorgeous little boy. He really is a dog that you fall in love with as soon as you meet him, he is so sweet. He deserves a chance in this life.

He may well never get rid of all his fears but he could live a happy, quiet life in a rural peaceful home with other friendly dogs and he has so much love to give. Piru loves to eat so food maybe a winning strategy to help gain confidence around humans.

Piru has a very sad story, he lived as a pet in an abusive home. He is a very traumatised dog. He found a foster home where there is another dog and the relationship between the dogs is great.

As you can see in the photos he is happy in the countryside and playing with other calm dogs but he is scared of people and gets very nervous with new people. He has never bitten or even growled, he just hyperventilates and tries to find a safe place. He is happy with a few people but not in crowds.

Piru will need to be given his space and time. He doesn’t know how to walk on a lead and he gets quite scared when it is put on. Sometimes he will just freeze so time and patience will be needed.

He is not one of the breeds we usually help, he is a complete mix but he is a little dog that needs a loving home with kind and patient adopters. We will only place him in a quiet rural home with existing friendly dog(s). No young children.

Piru was born on 20th Otober 2017.

Piru is currently at the shelter we work with in North Spain but his bags are packed and he is ready to travel to his forever home in the UK. Will that be with you? Will you help this little boy flourish?

If you are interested in giving Piru a home, he is available at Setter Brittany Pointer Rescue.
