Polly – 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Polly is a gorgeous while Staffordshire Bull Terrier about 2 years old. She loves people and is a real cuddle monster. Polly was picked up by the Dog Warden roaming the street. How could anyone abandon this lovely girl? At the moment she is being fostered with another male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Beautiful loyal Polly is a stunning white Stafford girl who is a great dog and really lovely with people and not overly excitable, she just loves greeting people. Polly walks very nicely and does not pull. She does like to be the boss and is in foster home with a friendly male Stafford at the moment but he knows who’s boss!

Polly is very affectionate and loves be cuddled up on your lap. We think she would be better suited to have a new Mom and Dad all to herself. Only apply if you have plenty of cuddles to give Polly! Dogwatch took Polly from a local pound as she needed a foster home to help her with medication she was taking. Polly has responded very well and is now very healthy however DogWatch UK will pledge to supply any further medication needed for this condition to the new owners free of charge if the need ever arises.

Fosterer’s report:

We have only been fostering Polly for a short time and we love having her. She is very calm in the house and nothing fazes her. She greets new people with enthusiasm and a very waggy tail, saying fuss me, fuss me. After that she is calm and well behaved. She is besotted with my husband, whenever she has not seen him for a while, she barks at him until she can sit on his lap, very cute. Polly is very good on the lead and enjoys her walks. Although she can be possessive of toys and treats, she tends to dominate her foster brother.

Polly loves humans much more than dogs she will let me take her food away. For this reason, it would be best if she was the only dog in the house. Unfortunately, cats are a no go too. We have not tested her with children, but should you want to visit Polly with your children, this can be arranged. We think Polly must have been kept outside and has not been properly house trained. We are working on this and she is a quick learner.

Polly is a wonderful affectionate dog, that will bring pleasure to anyone prepared to give her a forever home. Currently in a foster home in Birmingham, West Midlands. She is vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, will be neutered before being rehomed, microchipped. Adoption fee is £145. For more information on Polly call Katrina after 2pm.
