Poppy is a 7 year old female Shih Tzu and Tinx is a 3-4 year old female Shih Tzu Cross. Mother and Daughter must be homed as a pair. Poppy and Tinx have come to us for re homing due to a change in their owners circumstances. They are a great pair who will make a wonderful addition for a new family.
They have lived with children so would be fine to be re homed with sensible children 8+. They would like new owners who are around for most of the day and a home without any other dogs. Poppy has only one eye, she is well used to this as it was removed some time ago. There are no ongoing issues with her remaining eye and she needs no special provision for her sight impairment.
Poppy and Tinx are nervous around other dogs so will benefit from gentle continued exposure outside of the home. They are clean in the house and travel well in the car. They have lived with cats previously so should be fine with dog savvy feline friends.
They were a little unkempt on arrival but look great following a pamper session with our wonderful groomer. They will need regular grooming to ensure they remain in good condition and tangle free. Please consider the additional costs for grooming if you are not able to undertake this yourself. Grooming costs do vary greatly from area to area but can be expensive.
The girls must stay together as they are bonded and rely on each other greatly. They are friendly and social and love human company. They are enjoying their walks and are gradually building up to longer distances.
Poppy and Tinx have been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and are up to date with flea and worming treatment. Poppy has also had a full dental. They are currently being fostered In Beckenham Kent.
