Puma is a two year old female Pointer. Puma is a lively, loving, happy, playful and sensitive young Pointer.

Puma is in foster in Chertsey, Surrey but can travel to her forever home. She is flourishing in her wonderful foster home. Puma’s optimistic, happy character is now shining through and Puma is quietly friendly with new people and affectionate with those she knows well.

Puma loves the company of the resident dogs in her foster home. She has been friendly and respectful to all of them and loves to sleep cuddled up with one of them and play with them all in the garden. Having a friendly dog as a companion is essential for Puma.

Puma loves to be outside and she loves to run. Her recall training is going well in her foster home although like any pointer she has a good prey drive and her recall should not be relied upon, it may become more selective as she gains confidence.

Puma is ready now to head out to a new home.

Puma would love a home with another young dog for companionship, and playtime and to help her confidence along with adopters who allow her to grow at her own pace and continue to enjoy the world and not be fearful of it. Puma will make the most wonderful friend.

If you are interested in giving a wonderful Puma a home, she is available at Setter Brittany Pointer Rescue. Puma is currently in Chertsey, Surrey but her bag is packed and she is ready to travel to her special home somewhere in the UK. Will that be with you??
