Rankin – 3 year old male Greyhound

Rankin is the most stunning large male Greyhound boy of just 3 years. He is so sweet and such a big loving goofball. Rankin we feel could easily settle into a home that already had existing sighthounds in or with someone around all or most of the time would be fine to be an only dog with time and work alongside us to settle him. He is currently kennelled with Biddy a blue 2 year old girl here and if anyone was looking for a ready made pair they complement each other perfectly and are very well bonded. Rankin has only recently retired from racing so although he does walk well out and about on lead gentle socialisation will need to be safely carried out around other breeds of dogs. Rankin can be rehomed with dog savy children 6 upwards but NO cats.

[rehomed]

Although Rankin is currently with us here in kennels he works really hard to keep his kennel clean and toilets as soon as let out or taken on a walk so we do no envisage housetraining will be a problem. Rankin is currently in Stoke on Trent and can be rehomed nationally subject to a successful homevisit being carried out and any member of the immediate family and any current resident dogs committing to visit with him.

Rankin is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and will be castrated and receive a dental before rehoming. He will also be rehomed with 1 months free insurance.

Greyhound Gap
Greyhound Gap

Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from Greyhound Gap, we would ask that in the first instance you could take a few moments to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire if you have not already done so: http://www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/our-dogs/pre-adoption-questionnaire
