Red – 7 year old male Whippet Cross

Please meet Radiant Red! Red is a 7 year old male Whippet Cross. He came to us when his owners were unable to care for him anymore and when he arrived, he was in pretty shocking condition, he was covered in scars, really scared and had never lived inside, poor confused little man.

Red has had a rough life and always lived outside, despite this he has the most wonderful gentle nature and just loves a snuggle on the sofa with you! The perfect home for Red would be a single person with no other dogs, while he is happy to meet and play with dogs outside, he would prefer to have his home to himself, and given his past, who can blame him.

He is quite the regal gent, he walks beautifully on the lead, is house trained, most of the day he spends snoozing on the sofa however he loves his food and walks, and even more he loves his cuddles! When Red arrived, he was very fearful of the outside world, he didn’t seem to have had any socialisation outside of the house and was very weary of new people, I’m glad to say that is all now behind him and he is very social indeed!

Red absolutely loves to run and chase a ball, its lovely to watch him enjoying himself after years of just existing.

Red is a gentle soul, he is a darling with not a bad bone in his body. He is not destructive and is quite content being left for short periods. He is a very undemanding and lazy boy, who would suit an older person or couple.

Red is castrated, and chipped. He also had a dental on arrival as his breath was awful. He is flea and wormed.

Could this little man share your home with you?
