Ricky is a 6 month old male Cross-Breed. He is currently in foster in Lincolnshire, waiting for his forever family. Ricky is a lovely-natured dog.

He is friendly, confident, affectionate and very intelligent. He loves cuddling and playing with humans and has responded well to adult and child visitors to his foster home by saying hello and having a fuss straight away.

He has been playing nicely with the resident dogs in his foster home and is good at sharing his space, toys, and food.

He does need more socializing; he’s still a puppy and he doesn’t fully understand dog etiquette yet, but he’s a quick learner.

He was living with cats in Romania and he is brilliant with them; he likes to say hello but he is gentle and respectful of their boundaries.

Ricky is a very clever pup, he is quick to learn and has already picked up commands such as ‘down’ and ‘stay’.

He is now practising recall and walking on a lead, and he is acing both! He is naturally laid back and not scared by humans interacting with him; he is a fantastic pup to train and will benefit from plenty of intellectual stimulation.

He is house-trained and well-behaved, but he is only young with lots of puppy energy and will need further guidance from his family. Ricky is a wonderful, fun dog and will bring so much joy to any home. Currently living in Lincolnshire.

For further details regarding adopting a dog from Paws2Rescue, please email team@paws2rescue.com - Paws2Rescue performs home checks and offers post adoption support. Charity policy is not to rehome any dogs with children under 10 years old.

Paws2Rescue is a UK registered charity, for Romanian rescue dogs. We support many pet owners in Romania and tackle the cause of why there are so many homeless dogs by endorsing several neutering campaigns across the country. Our dogs are assessed in Romania prior to us bringing them to the UK. We have no physical UK kennels as our dogs are in adopters and fosterers homes across the UK. We believe we can make a difference one dog at a time! You will need to be over 25 to adopt, children in the household must be over 8 years old (over 12 for adult dogs). We can only adopt adult dogs to people 67 years and over. We encourage you to visit our website: www.paws2rescue.com before applying to read our adoption process and familiarise yourself with our work.
