Rita is a 3 month old female brown & white Saluki cross puppy who is currently in Oman.

She was recently rescued after her whole pack was shot and killed.

As she survived this, the locals were throwing stones at her to try and drive her away so we took her in to safety to save her life.

Rita is a bit nervous in new situations and with new people but she’s playful and friendly and loves the big dogs we have at the shelter.

For this reason, she’d probably suit a home with an existing kind dog or two. She would also be okay as an only dog too.

She has not been cat tested yet but this could be arranged if necessary.

We think Rita will be medium sized when fully grown weighing no more than 20kg.

She is fully vaccinated, microchipped and will be spayed before she leaves Oman.

Please note that it will take 3-4 months to prepare her for travel to the UK.

All dogs rehomed via this rescue will be vaccinated, neutered/spayed and microchipped. Home checks apply and full post adoption support is offered.

Our dogs are rescued from the streets of Oman where they live terrible lives, often suffering abuse, starvation, fatal car accidents and victims of shootings.

They’re primarily wadi dogs, a type of mixed breed sighthound and make wonderful pets. They’re incredibly loyal, loving and intelligent.
