Rita and Ringo – 4 year old male and female Greyhounds

Meet Rita and Ringo, a pair of 4-year-old, ex-racing Greyhound who are looking for a retirement home (either together or separate) to enjoy since being retired from racing. Rita and Ringo are currently kenneled together, and they could live together, however we think they could be in separate homes.

Like most Greyhounds, lovely Rita and Ringo only need one hour’s exercise a day and then love to snooze in their bed. Both dogs walk well on a lead together, however do show a prey drive around small furries so therefore will need to remain on a lead (and muzzle).

Rita and Ringo are good with other dogs when out and about (and are used to sharing space with other greyhounds) but would prefer to be the only dogs in the home. No cats, please.

They will need a home with direct access to a garden and ground floor access, as, like many Greyhounds, they aren’t used to stairs – although they are willing to try. Rita and Ringo could live with children aged 14+.

If you would like to adopt Rita and/or Ringo please fill out a rehoming questionnaire and a member of the team will get in contact within 48 hours.

The dogs who come into our care are strays, from pounds or simply dogs whose owners no longer can or want to keep. The dogs are a variety of breeds and come in all shapes and sizes! We neuter, vaccinate and microchip each dog and then pair it with the right new owner, ensuring that it will be safe, cared for and loved for the rest of its life.
