Rocco is a very big boy, he’s 32″ to the shoulder. He’s still young, so has his energetic and bouncy moments, and loves zoomies in enclosed areas. Rocco walks well on the lead, but can get excited when he sees other dogs (and if he does pull, you go with him!).

Rocco loves other dogs and has been in foster with small and medium dogs. However he does like to play rough; so any other dogs in the home would need to be able to cope with this. Due to size and boisterousness – not suitable to live with children or small dogs, or frail/elderly dogs or people.

Rocco is very interested in chasing sheep and deer; any new owner will need to ensure he is NEVER given the chance to do so. Housetrained. Happily sleeps through the night downstairs. Rocco has been fine being left home alone. Not suitable to live with cats. Vaccinated and neutered.

Rocco is at LURCHER LINK RESCUE, near Halifax, West Yorkshire.

For more information please email kaye@lurcherlink.org or if you’d like to apply to adopt or foster him, complete our online form : https://www.lurcher-link.org/preadoption-questionnaire.
